Susan is an educator, author, and researcher with a focus on literacy and Montessori education. Her research highlights the need for increased access to high-quality learning opportunities for all children. She brings her experiences as a Montessori teacher to her work supporting teachers in their classrooms. Together, they gather and transform literacy and observation data into impactful classroom instruction. And since learning happens beyond the classroom, she also engages families and the community to work in partnership with schools to nurture students’ learning.
